A few days ago, we wrote to you about some important news from the winemaking industry, which we expected to come to us in the coming weeks from abroad. In the end, things went faster than we expected and we can now announce that the launch of the first implementation of the French version of Thesis Winery, in a winery in Alsace, is a fact!

The French version of Thesis Winery, developed over the last semester, within the framework of our collaboration at the level of preparing practical work (stages étudiants) with the Ecole d’Ingénieurs en Informatique of eXia Cesi in Strasbourg, includes all the necessary modifications and facilitations in order to fully cover the local needs of a region with several similarities but also equally numerous and substantial differences with those of the Greek vineyard. With its completion just a month ago, it was presented to wineries in the wider region (Grand Est), receiving particularly positive comments and has already been chosen to be installed as a pilot project by two owners of wineries in Alsace, of different sizes and development methodologies.

The first – relatively smaller in production size – implementation, in fact, has already begun at Domaine Durrmann, a founding member of a collaboration of organic and biodynamic winegrowers and winemakers in France and North Italy, is expected to be completed in the next two months. The practical acceptance of our solution, in such a historic and important wine market as the French one, as well as the prospects for the development of the company and the product that this success creates, cannot but fill us with pride, but also optimism for what lies ahead in the coming year.

We would like to thank those who directly and/or indirectly helped achieve this goal and we will renew our appointment with everyone with fresh news and updates, soon…
